Browser agents as a service
Muntina makes websites readable and controllable for AI agents. Open-source library, hosted agent API, and managed browsers. The muntin is the bar between panes: structure so the agent can move across the live web.

Hosted Agents
Hosted agents
Submit a task in language. Get a result from a managed browser session. JSON Schema, follow-ups in the same context, files, recordings, and webhooks.
Browsers
Browser infrastructure
Chromium via CDP for Playwright, Puppeteer, Selenium, or your runner. Metered by the minute. Stealth builds, profiles, live preview, recordings.
Library
Open source
Run the agent loop yourself when you must. The library operates a local or remote browser with the same page-structure bias. MIT license.
Page structure
Structured pages first
Accessibility tree, cleaned DOM, pane grid
Muntina prefers a structured page: the accessibility tree, a cleaned DOM, and the grid of panes. The agent clicks named controls and reads labeled values. Vision is the fallback when the page is a canvas.
What the agent holds
- Role, name, value, and bounds for every control
- A cleaned DOM with scripts and ads stripped
- A pane map so follow-up steps stay in the same session
- Optional screenshot when the tree is empty
How it works
Four panes from task to JSON
01
Submit a task
Send a goal, a start URL, and a JSON Schema. Hosted models run on Sash. Bring your own key on Pane and Wall.
02
Open Chromium
Muntina starts a managed session. Persistent profiles keep cookies. Human takeover covers auth walls.
03
Read the tree
The loop reads the accessibility tree and cleaned DOM, then acts. Progress events stream while it works.
04
Return the result
You receive schema-valid JSON, workspace files, a recording, and credit usage. Sessions stay up for follow-ups.
Grid

Why muntins
A muntin is the bar between panes. The bar is how you climb from glass to glass. Muntina is named for that grid: structure an agent can hold so it can move across the live web.
Runtime
Structured pages and vision fallbacks
Most vendor portals, admin tools, and billing desks expose roles and names. Those pages should be read as text. Canvas widgets, maps, and captchas still need a screenshot. The tree is the default. Vision spends tokens when the tree is silent.
Sessions
Sessions that survive a login
A task that dies at the password field is wasted browser time. Persistent profiles, human takeover, and the same session_id keep the pane open after auth. Follow-up tasks reuse the cookies you already paid to earn.
API key
Keys are issued from the founder desk.

Meter in public
Browser time is $0.07 per hour, billed per minute. Hosted model input is $0.55 per 1M tokens. Output is $2.10 per 1M tokens. Plans are on pricing.
